Plus, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, many of the offers listed below include flexible cancelation policies to help you feel more at ease when you (eventually) set sail. Read on for the best cruise deals for 2021 and 2022 in honor of wave season.
Windstar Cruises
Windstar Cruises’ “Sail Small, Live Large With Big Perks” promotion lets travelers choose from an array of incredible perks depending on the length of the cruise and stateroom category. These include $1,000 in onboard credit per stateroom; a one-night hotel stay pre- or post-cruise on European sailings; a premium beverage package; and complimentary wifi. Future cruisers can also take advantage of discounted deposits. Plus, the line’s updated booking policy allows passengers to cancel up to 48 hours before embarkation. Book by February 28, 2021.
Emerald Cruises
Embark on a bucket-list-worthy voyage with Emerald Cruises, which is currently offering a value-packed “Explore The World With Us” campaign. The offer is valid across an array of Europe and Asia ocean and river sailings throughout 2021 and 2022. Complimentary perks and savings include free roundtrip air, up to $2,500 in savings (per couple) depending on cruise length and stateroom category. Additionally, those who pay in full at least one year before embarkation can save up to 30 percent on cruise fares (depending on the selected itinerary). The cruise line’s flexible booking policy allows guests to “defer travel plans and transfer to an alternate departure date or itinerary” up to 60 days before departure without incurring any fees. Emerald is also offering 50 percent off deposits across all sailings. Book by February 28, 2021.
Holland America Line
Holland America Line’s annual “View & Verandah” promotion is back and better than ever. Those who book a 2021 or 2022 sailing will receive a stateroom upgrade; a signature beverage package; free one-night specialty dining; 10 percent off all shore excursions booked before March 14, 2021; 50 percent off deposits; and free (or reduced) fares for kids. According to the cruise line, the promotion applies to the first and second stateroom guests and is valid on most sailings. As part of the sale, guests can book an oceanview stateroom for the price of an interior one and a balcony stateroom for the cost of an oceanview one. The line’s cancelation policies, which can be viewed here, vary depending on embarkation date and cruise length. Book by February 28, 2021.
Uniworld
“Cruise Back Into Travel” with Uniworld, which is offering up to 30 percent off select 2021 itineraries. Those who opt to book their flights through Uniworld will save an additional $500 per person. (Private car transfer from the airport to the ship re also included with all airfare bookings.) Meanwhile, the cruise line’s cancelation policy allows passengers to change or suspend their cruise up to 60 days before embarkation without penalty. Alternatively, cruisers can opt to receive a non-refundable Future Travel Certificate “equal to the amount of funds received by Uniworld at the time of cancellation,” which can be used towards any 2021 or 2022 sailing. Book by March 31, 2021.
Azamara:
Azamara Waterways is currently offering up to 40 percent off a wide selection of voyages that set sail between May 1, 2021, and May 13, 2022. Free wifi is also included. As always, fares are all-inclusive, meaning gratuities, select beverages, and cultural events are all included aboard each voyage. The Cruise With Confidence Program allows passengers to cancel their reservation up to 48 hours before embarkation. (Those who opt to cancel will receive a Future Cruise Credit of the same amount initially paid. This credit is valid on all sailings through September 30, 2022, and must be used by April 30, 2022.) Book by March 31, 2021.
Regent Seven Seas
Upgrade Your Horizon with this incredible wave season promotion from Regent Seven Seas, including a free two-category suite upgrade across all ships (and 300-plus voyages!), along with 50 percent off all deposits. Those who book a Concierge Suite will enjoy a complimentary one-night, pre-cruise hotel stay. Or, splurge on a Penthouse Suite to enjoy personalized butler service. The Regent Reassurance policy allows cruisers to cancel their sailing up to 15 days before embarkation, in which they would receive a Future Cruise Credit in the amount paid. Princess
Princess’ annual Best. Sale. Ever. never disappoints. With a savings of up to $700 per guest (based on a six-night cruise), you won’t want to miss this limited-time promotion. This includes a complimentary Premier Beverage Package (which includes cocktails, wine, beer, bottled water, and more), wifi, gratuities, a stateroom location upgrade, and one specialty dining meal. Those who cancel their reservation 30 days before embarkation will receive a Future Cruise Credit based on the cancelation fee amount — given that the voyage departs on or before October 31, 2021. However, note that the credit is only valid on or before May 1, 2022, or within one year of the original embarkation (whichever is the later date). Book by March 2, 2021.
Cunard
Discovery Awaits on your next Cunard sailing. Snag up to $2,000 in onboard credit (per stateroom) and 50 percent off deposits. Returning guests can receive a discount of up to $1,200. Additionally, Grill Suite passengers will receive complimentary drinks and gratuities. The offer is valid on over 250 voyages.
